Jim Miller bureau 12 1909
I lived in a small town west of Austin with my wife and four girls very quiet town, until today, because I killed a man today. He was old and wore a red cross around his neck, and he was hitting a child that just bumped into him. It all happened so fast, I saw what was happening and tackled the man to the ground so he would stop hitting the poor boy. the old mans head landed on a rock when he hit the ground killing him instantly. That's when two hooded men came and knocked me out. Now I'm sitting in a room with a bag over my head. when my captors finally took the bag off of my head I took in my surroundings I was in a cave, barely lit up by a few candles. There where three men with hoods protecting there faces. one of them was siting down and polishing a serrated blade that appeared to come out of his wrist. another was stand in by one of the candles reading a paper of some sort and the one that took the bag off of my head had a gun with a strange symbol held to my face. he then proceeded to interrogate me. it felt like hours of saying the same thing over and over again, I don't know. they revealed why it was so important that I tell them what they need to know, first they told me there names and then they told me the about the secret war that had been going on for centuries between the Assassins and Templars, and that the man I killed had been one of the most powerful templars in the state of Texas and that he was there searching for an object of great importance to both sides. I stayed with them for nine months learning there ways. until they initiated me into there creed. they gave me one of there wrist blades but it had a modification, a revolver cylinder was placed on the top of the blade as well as the trigger mechanism and iron sights, they called it the quick draw blade. I served the assassins for sixteen years earning the rank of master until I crossed paths with a deputy marshal with a red cross around his neck and a glowing orb in his hand. he used this orb to change my history and make my life as an assassin look like the life of a psychotic killer. and when I killed him the people threw me in a sell stripped me of my weapons' and tools.
