Alluri Sitarama Raju (1897–7 May 1924) was an Indian tribal leader turned assassin who led a series of guerilla warfare and rebellions against the British raj and the Templars of the Madras presidency. He was an exceptional warrior and a strategist who defeated multiple British soldiers in his famous Rampa Rebellion of 1922 and took down many important Templar officers with the help of Indian Brotherhood of assassin's and his tribe in a span of few months and weakened the overall control of Templars over Southern India. Alluri used to wield two war axes, an Indian variant of longbow, and the traditional hidden blade he received from a dead assassin he encountered as a teenager.
