Additional information

The Argentinian Rite of the Templar Order, originally the Rio de la Plata Rite of the Templar Order, is the branch of the Templar Order that operates in Argentina and Uruguay. Founded in 1776,  in what was then the Spanish colonies of continental South America, it is based at Buenos Aires, Argentina. It's main contender are the Argentinian Assassins.

History Edit

By 1498, the Inquisition killed most of the Spanish Brotherhood, although they managed to kill Torquemada. By that same year, the Assassins had no grip on the Spanish royal family and the branch nearly deserted. Victory was short-lived as Master Assassin Ezio Auditore helped rebuilding the Assassins.

With the creation of the first capitanies and organizations in New Land, the Templar begun infiltrating positions of power to secure the commerce and local power, search for precursor sites and technology began soon after.

the American Rite asume control over the new world, eventually spliting into two new Rites: The Colonial Rite (under the patronage of the British Rite) and the American Spanish Rite (under the patronage of the Spanish Rite), which in turn split over the XVII Century into the New Spain Rite and the Peruvian Rite

Over the years the Port city of Buenos Aires increased in size and economical power (even though it was prohibited by royal decree to be opened as a maritime port), this, and the necesity to control a nearer access to sea routes, led to the Templars to seek office and create connections with the local landlords in the city of "Real de Nuestra Señora Santa María del Buen Ayre", under the control of the Peruvian Rite. With the creation of the Viceroyalty of Rio de la Plata in 1776 by the Spanish Crown, "El Rito de Templarios del Rio de la Plata" (Rio de la Plata Rite of the Templar Order) was born, to oversee the full extent of the Rio de la Plata basin and near territories.

Reorganization of the ViceroyaltyEdit

With the fall of the Spanish Crown under the French Invasion of Napoleon, Carlota Joaquina, sister of the Spanish king Ferdinand VII and married to the regent prince of Portugal, sought to take advantage of the Peninsular War to rule over the Spanish territories. Her project, however, was resisted and did not succeed. Buenos Aires after defeating two invasions from the British Empire, ousted the viceroy Baltasar Hidalgo de Cisneros in May 1810, and began the Argentine War of Independence, renaming the territory as the United Provinces of the Río de la Plata. However, other territories stood against Buenos Aires, staying loyal to the Spanish rule, and the actual status of each zone depended upon the military conflicts; Paraguay and the Upper Peru (modern Bolivia) could resist Buenos Aires. Spain declared Buenos Aires a rogue city and appointed Montevideo as the new capital of the Viceroyalty, but Javier de Elío was sieged by Buenos Aires and the rural populations, and could not maintain authority beyond the Banda Oriental (modern Uruguay). Montevideo would be finally captured by William Brown and Alvear. these events led in fact by both Templar and Assassins allies and members, mark the fall of the Viceroyalty and the begining of a new project for a Nation, this led to the Guild renaming and reorganization.

Independence WarEdit

Divided NationEdit

XIX/XX CenturyEdit

After Bartolomé Mitre becomed president of the Argentina, he used the templar influence and money to unificated the country and create a central government. In 1865, Argentina, Brasil and Uruguay, declared war to Paraguay beginning the Triple Alianza war. Both templars and assassins oppose the conflict. In 1868, the assassins killed the argentinas vicepresident. In 1878, the general and templar Julio Argentino Roca began a campaign against the indians in order to take their lands. Between these years, Argentina become one of the most rich countries in the world thanks to the row materials exportation like cow meat. In 1916, the people choose for the first time their leaders. Hipolito Yrigoyen won the election and become president.

Peron and the JuntasEdit

General Juan Domingo Perón, entered the goverment secretly aided by the Assassins who saw him as a way to protect the lower classes and fight Templar prescense in the govermnet, however power soon corrupted him and the brotherhood failed to take measures as the Templars became Peron's primary allies. During Peron's exile, Paramilitary groups were allies of the Assassins, but this was a short-lived truce as the Assassins discovered most of those groups were in fact led by Templars.

During the 1970s, Argentina was ruled by military Juntas (protected by the Templars). Henry Kissinger, an associate of Abstergo Industries, asked for the message to be passed to the Capitalists that if they helped them remain in power, their debts would be passed to the Argentine people, ensuring they would crush any popular revolt and end the trade unions. Abstergo were also implicated in the disappearances of 30000 dissidents during this period.

== Present day =After the 2001 crisis, the templars used as puppets the politicians Nestor and Cristina Kirchner to controlled the population and the trade unions of the country. In exchange, the order allowed acts of corruption perpetrated by the marriage during his twelve years in power. After 2015, The templars used their external and internal influence to hinder the Mauricio Macri's government. During 2019 elections, Alberto Fernandez and Cristina Won because of the templar's influence in the population. After that, the templars wanted to give super powers to their puppets to eliminated the political opposition to their government using as an excuse the economic crisis and the Covid-19.
