Assassin's Creed Rebellion is a fictional game in the AC series. It takes place in the 1919-21 Irish War of Independence and follows Hugh Miles an Assassin using the cover of the Irish Republican Army.
Plot[]
The story starts in 1913 when 17 year old Hugh Miles a factory worker originally from Co. Longford is beaten by RIC constables during the Dublin Lockouts. A member of the ICA named Alan McDaid helps Hugh by pushing the RIC men off of him and the two then plan to escape the factories vicinity. The next week Hugh is met by Padraig Pearse, a member of the Irish Republican Brotherhood, an elite squad of Assassins who support an Irish Republic and were founded to combat the Ancient Order of Hibernians, a group of Templers. Pearse tells Hugh how he was amazed by is ability to outmanoeuvre the RIC the previous week.
Three years later and Hugh is fighting the British army at the GPO in Dublin during the Easter Rising. The uprising is crushed and Hugh is taken to a Welsh prison.
Back in Ireland in 1918 Hugh meets with Michael Collins, an IRB Assassin.
