Assassin's Creed: Saga is a graphic novel published by Dark Horse Comics and written by Brian Michael Bendis. Saga takes place five years after the events of the "Source of Eden" trilogy and is the fourth title in the "Horatio Pierce Saga". The plot once again centres on Horatio Pierce and his allies when he must re-enter the Animus and explore the memories of his eleventh century Viking ancestor Ari Einarrson in order to find and rescue his mother from the rogue Templar Kyle North. Saga is intended as the first title in a new trilogy of the Horatio Pierce Saga.
Plot synopsis[]
"Five years after Assassin's Creed: Salvation, Horatio Pierce and his allies still fight the good fight against Abstergo. When his mother is caught in a conspiracy and kidnapped by an old adversary of Horatio, he must return to the Animus and relive the memories of his Viking ancestor, who is the key to uncovering the mystery behind his mother's kidnapping."
