Lieutenant-General Sir Duncan Alexander Cameron, GCB, Colonel of The Black Watch (1808 - 1888) was a decorated war hero, United Kingdom British Army General, Governor of a Royal Military College, descendant of prominent Highlanders, and a member of the British Rite of the Templar Order.
General Cameron once held undisputed command of the British colonial soldiers in New Zealand, and was a respected and feared leader of the British militaries and all their armaments, and ordered raids and skirmishes against the New Zealand Brotherhood of Assassins sparking many wars between the two creeds.
