Edouard Andre Docieux was a French WW2 pilot, distiller, photographer, and Master Assassin of the Parisian and French Assassins from 1955 to 1986. During WW2, Edouard was known for his aviation knowledge and participation in the Battle of Britain at the age of 21. As an Assassin, he was most known as the second husband of renowned Master Assassin and Mentor Isabelle Allard, the woman he would remain married to until his passing in 2012. He was also known as a strategist and a diplomat within Isabelle’s cell. Edouard is of French and German descent.
Early Years and Assassin Origins[]
Edouard Andre Docieux was born in the family home in Strasbourg, France, to Henri and Hannah Docieux on August 18th, 1919. His father was French whereas his mother was a German who was looking for work due to the economic downturn in the new Weimar Republic. Edouard had a rough childhood and struggled in school, often bouncing between Strasbourg and Mainz as a boy. Despite trying his hardest, his parents gave up on him when he was ten, sending him to the streets to atone for his failures. He would remain homeless for three years, relying on pickpocketing and theft to survive. It was around this time that he gave himself the Monet surname as a gimmick, not wanting anything to do with his parents. He would paint and sing on the streets of Strasbourg in order to make coins. In 1932, a female figure who later revealed herself approached Edouard and introduced herself as Alexandra Dorian, who recruited him as an apprentice and took him back to Paris. Edouard would train alongside the likes of his future wife Isabelle Allard, Vivian Cadieux, and Xavier Andreu in all sorts of combat training and Assassin Theory. Edouard would be Isabelle’s sparring partner in combat training, and the two would develop a good friendship. Edouard, Isabelle, and Vivian would all receive their Master Assassin ranks before Alexandra’s untimely murder at the hand of Stefan Klein. At the outbreak of World War Two, Edouard immediately fled France. He sought solace in England, where he would live in Exeter with his aunt, who actively encouraged Edouard to enlist in the Air Force and defend the nation, due to Edouard’s partial knowledge of airplanes. At first, he was hesitant but later chose to enlist.

Time in World War II[]
After receiving extended training at RAF Northolt on how to fly a plane, Edouard was given his own Hawker Hurricane fighter jet and would be called into action upon the German invasion of England and see time over the skies of London, shooting down a German plane that would crash into Victoria Station. After taking part in the bombings of Hamburg and Kassel, Edouard would play a pivotal role during D-Day, deploying paratroopers behind the German lines on Normandy beach, and would later participate in the bombings of Braunschweig and Dresden. After the war, Edouard received the 1939-45 Star Medal for his bravery during the battle. Upon the end of the war, Edouard stayed in Exeter with his aunt until 1950, when he would enlist as a pilot in the conflict in Korea.
Time in Korea[]
When he was approached, Edouard immediately enlisted as a pilot within the UN Army and was shipped off to Japan. While on the way to Japan, he was amazed to see that his childhood friend Isabelle had enlisted as well as a foot soldier/combat medic. His heart sank a bit once he found out that she was engaged to her longtime friend Xavier Andreu, who was also on board to serve in the war. Edouard wouldn’t see action until January 1951 when he would play a role in several incursions into North Korea and would see limited action before being honorably discharged in November of 1952. By the first time he saw action, Isabelle had been sent back to France, which Edouard would later say depressed him while he was in Korea.

Joining the French Assassins[]
Isabelle Allard became the Mentor of the French Assassins upon the passing of Olivier R. Abadie and recruited Edouard into her Brotherhood in 1956, where Edouard worked alongside Franco-Italian Assassin recruit Diane Laurent in getting their technology up to par with modern times and collaborating with her on strategies when it came to training new initiates. He would take over this role as the project lead upon Diane’s defection to the Templars in 1965.
After his marriage to Isabelle, Edouard would accompany his wife and Vivian Cadieux-Foden to several Assassin Conferences and diplomatic visits to countries such as Cuba, China, the United States, and Canada. He would serve as the plane's pilot who escorted them to wherever their meetings were held.
Attempted Assassination of Isabelle[]
On August 9th, 1965, Edouard was present on stage at Parc Monceau to watch his wife give a speech on the ongoing conflict of the Vietnam War. At 1:20 pm, Edouard heard two gunshots go off and much to his shock, Isabelle was wounded by them. After she tried to walk off the stage, Edouard called 911 and called for an ambulance and proceeded to perform first aid on her until the paramedics showed up. Edouard boarded the ambulance with Margaux and went with the paramedics to the hospital with his hand on her forehead for the duration of the trip to the hospital. Isabelle was operated on for nine hours all while a nerve-wracked Edouard, Margaux, Alexandre, and Vivian waited in the waiting room, and stayed to assist Isabelle in whatever way they could, with Edouard and Vivian split taking care of Isabelle with Alexandre and Margaux while she stayed at the hospital for two weeks. He would also visit Isabelle out at the family cabin whenever he could so he could observe his wife’s training regimen, as well as spend time with her during her recovery.
Later Years and Death[]
Edouard would retire from the Assassin Order alongside his wife in 1984, at the age of 67 to focus on the expansion of their winery/distillery. The couple would live in relative comfort out in their isolated acreage outside of Versailles, even through the Great Purge, with Edouard only leaving for sporadic visits to family in Paris. In 2008, at the age of 89, Edouard caught H1N1, which severely weakened his lungs. Shortly after, Edouard was diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer, which he passed away from on April 5th, 2012 after a four-year battle with the disease. Edouard was 92 at the time of his passing. No ceremony was held at Isabelle’s request, and his remains were cremated and remained in Isabelle’s possession until her passing a year later in December of 2013, where they were both interred into the Dorian Family Crypt with military honors.
Skills and Talents[]
As a Master Assassin, Edouard was known for his quick, swift, and tactical approach to combat, often incorporating the likes of wrestling and the Russian martial art Sambo into his combat style, wrestling opponents down to the ground and pinning them down until they submitted or handed over to authorities.
As a talented photographer, Edouard was known for being the main and personal photographer of his wife Isabelle. He has photographed her in her photos ranging from her professional Mentor portraits to lingerie shoots and editorials. Isabelle has stated that she has always felt comfortable in front of the camera, no matter what she was wearing, and credited him with boosting her confidence before she did her Heart of the Eagle Magazine editorial with a lingerie shoot out at the Dorian Family Cabin during her recovery period in March of 1966.
Personal Life[]
As a boy, Edouard was a loud child who was full of energy and liked to fight on the streets of Strasbourg and Mainz every day after he finished school, often arriving home late into the evening much to the ire of his parents. This behavior is what led him to the streets at such a young age. During the war, Edouard matured and learned what the meaning of brotherhood means by getting along with his fellow pilots, many of whom remained friends with him after the War.
Edouard was a very determined individual and stopped at nothing to validate himself to his parents who frequently looked down on him, and it was only until just before his marriage to Isabelle that they showed true emotion for their son who was marrying a woman of great importance. They reconciled with their son in Mainz just before his wedding, and they were invited to the wedding at the request of Isabelle.
He was also a self-professed ‘football nut’ according to Isabelle, developing an interest in the game while living in Exeter, he would even act as an agent for her son Alexandre during his football career. He was the one who suggested Alexandre join Real Madrid CF in 1982, where he would play for the rest of his career. Edouard himself would hold shares in Paris-Saint Germain FC from its inception in 1970 until 2011, a year before his death until he was forced to sell his shares to Qatar Sports Investments in order to finance his cancer treatments.
Shortly after his marriage to Isabelle, the couple started a vineyard and operated a winery/distillery at Isabelle’s acreage outside of Versailles named Avian Descent, shipping their wine and spirits out across England, continental Europe, and even North America. Avian Descent is still in business to this day, owned by his daughter Lucile. The formation of the distillery was out of a combined interest in brewing spirits and wine.
Edouard was also known for his quick wit and reflexes. This was shown during he and Isabelle’s honeymoon where she was stabbed with a glass shard. Edouard killed the assailant, delicately removed the glass shard, and ordered his stepdaughter Margaux to call an ambulance within the span of a minute and a half.
Romantic Life[]
Edouard who was a self-proclaimed ladies' man, married twice. His first marriage was to a British shopkeeper, Michelle Richardis in April 1954. The couple would have a child together, a daughter they named Lucile Amber Docieux in Exeter on June 27th, 1960, while Edouard was away in France. The constant traveling between Paris and Exeter would put a strain on the marriage, with Edouard and Michelle divorcing on peaceful terms, but with Michelle retaining custody of Lucile, which severely depressed Edouard.

Edouard’s second marriage was to Isabelle Miranda Allard, the Mentor of the French Brotherhood of Assassins. Edouard and Isabelle rekindled their past friendship when she was looking for a babysitter to look after her two young children. Edouard would later say that Isabelle would give him ‘signs’, such as wearing tight jeans that hugged her curves, along with looking at him seductively whenever they were around each other. A couple of days later Edouard asked Isabelle out on a date and the two immediately hit it off. What shocked many was when Edouard proposed to Isabelle eight months later and got married on July 10th, 1963, and remained married until Edouard died in 2012. Isabelle’s son Alexandre was the ringbearer, and Margaux was the flower girl. Alexandre walked his mother down the aisle towards Edouard. Isabelle and Edouard were described as the perfect couple, with Isabelle saying that Edouard was the perfect man for her, as he in a way spoiled her with sensual massages and hot baths when she was stressed, and various trips around the world. His marriage to Isabelle was controversial due to many Assassins believing that Edouard married Isabelle just for status reasons in the Brotherhood and that he just wanted to get inside Isabelle’s pants. Edouard stated that the rumors ‘were bogus’ and that he married Isabelle because he actually loved her.
Edouard was the agent for his stepson Alexandre during his football career, and was a key role in his transfers to Fulham, Nottingham Forest, and Real Madrid.
Edouard has been quoted as saying that he ‘won the jackpot’ when he married Isabelle.
