Friedrich was a German officer and member of the Gestapo who operated in Occupied Paris during World War 2. He was also a Sage of the Isu known as Vejovis.
Biography[]
In 1943, Friedrich was called to the headquarters of the Gestapo at Prinz-Albrecht-Straße 8 in Berlin to meet with a fellow member named Hans, who unbeknownst to Friedrich was a member of the German Rite of the Templar Order. Upon arriving at the headquarters, Friedrich saw Hans standing in front of a hooded man who was tied to a chair, whose name was revealed to be Pierre. Hans then walked over to a wooden box sitting on a nearby table, and showed Friedrich a glowing dagger and said that Pierre was carrying it on his person when the Frenchman was caught as a spy. Friedrich was immediately drawn toward the dagger.
The Gestapo officer knew what it was, and that he had seen it before, although he wasn't sure from where. Memories began to fill his mind, memories of incredible technology and glowing figures, none of which made any sense to him. His focus on the dagger was broken by Hans shaking his shoulder, asking if he was alright. Friedrich lied and said that he was, and looked on as Hans took the dagger from his hands, and walked over to Pierre, before stabbing the man in the chest, killing him where he was tied up.
Friedrich was then given the dagger by Hans and instructed to take the object back to the latter's "allies" there in Berlin. Friedrich did as the secret Templar ordered, and as he drove across the city to return it, he held it in his hands, and gazed deeply at it, and began contemplating just what it was that made this dagger so significant. He knew it was important, he simply couldn't understand why.
