Jacob Denton was a mercenary-private-pirate active after the American Revolution in North America and the Caribbean. He was born in Swansea in Wales, by Anthony Denton, his father had retired as a simple peasant and established in Wales. Jacob, however, ran away from home traveling for the New World, and there became a mercenary for American Assassins and Caribbean Assassins. He is the grandson of James Denton and an ancestor of Aaron Bryant and André Bolden.
