Due to many of his files been deleted as of the result of the 5 year abduction at Abstergo, there is little information that has been known about him from what he commented on on several voice recordings found in random locations by surviving assassins.
Early Life[]
Childhood 1992-2007[]
"I saw him just standing their staring at me from over his left soldier. He nodded and started running, and I followed him"
--- Subject 21 talking about his experience in "The Hotel Blaze", Unknown Date, Label #009.
Born as Jaime Carlos (Spainsh: James Charles) Rodriguez in Orlando, FA, U.S.A. to Ferdinand and Josette Rodriguez on 29th February 1992 in a base known as "the Hotel". He spent the majority of his childhood training and learning the history of the creed. At the age of 15, his parents and other assassins perished in a fire that was suspected to have been started by Templars, Jaime himself barely escaped the blazes through what he saw as a ghostly gaurdian in the figure of a young colonial spaniard in a hooded army jacket. He was found by the Templar Order who, amazed by his luck of escaping the building alive, captured him while weakened by the escape and took him to their Abstergo Facility in Italy.

Animus Training (2007- Early 2012)[]
"I was young then, I had no idea what these people would do to fellow assassins"
---Subject 21 talking about his life under Abstergo, Unknown Date, Label #023.
Jaime was the main subject into how the animus would actually work for a regular person at his age. Which then eventually led to the development of the Gameplay Controls for the animus to make it much easier for further users to acess the animus.
Subject 21 (Early - Mid 2012)[]
After the escape of Subject 17/Desmond Miles, Subjects 18, 19 and 20 all apparently died in quick sucession of each other due to some missing software in the machine which erupted into a virus, leaving Abstergo no choice but to give 20 year old Jaime Rodriguez control of the animus, dubbed Subject 21. Strangely, Jaime survived as his recent predessesors did not, but it is believed that the virus was left dormant within his mind until such he came into contact with the Aniport (animus portable) system.
Escape (Mid 2012)[]
It is unknown how Jaime ended up escaping from Abstergo without inside help. But it is widely believed that Abstergo deliberately let him go for some unknown reason. Jaime also took with him the prototype for the Aniport which he used to continue look into the lives of his ancestors.
On The Run[]
"Here I am now, this machine, this . . . lovely piece of machinery. I works you know, it really works".
--- Jaime commenting on the new Aniport (Animus Portable), believed to have gone mad due to a side effect with the machine, Unknown Date, Label #001.
It is unknown what happened to Jaime. According to findings at various sites, their are voice recorders with information about what had happened in the recent events, a saved file flash drive that contained the progress of Jaime's ancestors, and on most occasions, a small pool of Jaime's blood.
