Kang Xue was a Chinese member of Assassins who served the order from 1927 to 1977. He lived during the Chinese Civil War between the Nationalist Party and the Communist Party, he and his fellow assassins supported the Communist party for the war that followed the massacre of Shanghai in 1927. He killed Mao Zedong in 1976, although it was already old.
Kang Xue was born in the Chinese province of the same name in Shanghai. His parents were of a social middle class and Kang could attend the school and was educated, being the only son. Kang was a very shy character when he was a child and this caused him not to be particularly friendly with other children. In fact, he was always targeted by older boys, but Kang never responded to provocations. When he was 15, his mother died of an incurable disease, and this left a great emptiness in Kang. Time later, Kang had a school discussion that led to a fight with another boy. Kang was kicked out of school and decided he would never come back to his life. And so he did.
