Marie Anne Chimon Étienne d'Le Louroux was an Assassin who operated during the French Revolution. She was the older sister to Pierre d'Le Louroux, and worked with the Master-Assassin Laurent Mouzay. Her speciality was stealth – unlike her relentless brother and the show-off-like Mouzay.
After the revolution she, her brother and Mouzay worked in Paris to secure that people like Louis d'Orléans did not regained power in the city. When the Napoleonic wars was a fact, Mouzay went into the army for the Prussian army (he would not work for an emperor who operated against the Creed); Pierre were by the Parisian Council sent to the Ottoman Empire to go after David al-Djin; herself settled down with the merchant Maurice Eymoutiers – whom she had married in 1800. She carried one child with Maurice: Domitille Eymoutiers.
She is an ancestor of Zachariah Oneco through the maternal line.

Childhood[]
Marie Anne was born February 7th 1766 in the village Le Louroux. She was the daughter of a poor nobleman and -woman. The nobles Jacques and Mélanie were happy when their daughter was born: she was healthy, and would not die by a simple disease. They gave her the name of Marie Anne (which was the name of Mélanie's mother).
Marie Anne's training in parkour was learned to her by her uncle Chimen and his novices
She was a quick learner and did soon learned how to walk and talk – she did it quicker than other children. Her brother, Pierre, was born when she was 6 years, and she knew that her parents had a "good time" before he was born. Mélanie, her mother, said that it was the stork, but she could not trick her daughter. Marie Anne took care of her younger brother
Her childhood went to parkour and hunting at animals. She managed to steal apples, jewlery from her mother and father, and then put them back – without them noticing. Her father was generous with giving her a teacher. She could therefore learn about the world around her. She was not allowed to talk to people outside of the family's estate. Mélanie and Jacques was modernists, and did not followed the rule that women should not learn and being ignorant of their surroundings. Her teacher was Jacques' brother (her uncle): Grimon Chimen, a French doctor and Master Assassin.

At the 4th of July 1776, Mélanie told her children that she and Jacques was supposed to go to talk to the public officer regarding their's economic issues, and their uncle Chimen would soon pick them up. He would then bring them to his house in Paris. She said goodbye with these words: "Being a noble is good; be a poor noble is better. No one cares about you if you are poor, but you do have a form of income. Use this income for the benefits of the people."
Marie Anne was not stupid, and understood that Mélanie was lying to her and her brother. So, when Mélanie and Jacques traveled to the officer's castle, Marie Anne followed them. Her parkour-and-stelath-skills make her manage to stalk them without their parents noticing.
At the castle to the public officer in Le Louroux, a scaffold waited on the couple. At the age of 10, Marie Anne witnessed her parents' death. The public officer declared the Étienne-family bankrupt: Jacques Étienne had run a dangerous play with some merchants, so he and his wife ended their lives' in the gallows. This would mark Marie Anne for the rest of her life.
Later that day uncle Chimen arrived at the estate and found Marie Anne in the gardens. She held around her brother; both cried. Chimen knew what this was all about: Marie Anne had found out of the parents' death somehow and told her little brother, Pierre. Uncle Chimen walked to them and embraced them. He let them cry – let them shed tears. It was late night when Chimen escorted the children out to his carriage. His servant, Vallérie, had carried out all of the children's belongings and chattel.

At the arrival of uncle Chimen's house at the rue des Petits-Champs in Paris, Vallérie took the children's belongings to their new rooms. The house was big and great – almost too nice for a simple doctor like uncle Chimen. Marie Anne watched at their new home. Pierre found his way to the garden, where a pair of French tricolor dogs waited. This was for the help of Pierre, for this made him forget the parents' death for some years. Marie Anne on the other hand stood by her uncle's side. What was she supposed to do now? Chimen had the answer to this: Training. He did however waited with this until she became 12 year.
At the age of 12 years, Marie Anne still sorrowed: every day, hour, and minute of her life, she planned how she could take revenge over her parents. One day, when she read a book in the study, Marie Anne was aware of someone making noises in her sleeping room. She just thought it was some of the servants in the house, but soon Chimen found her in the study. "What is this?" he shouted. In his hands, Chimen hold a sheet of paper where Marie Anne had written down a dozens of ways to kill the public officer in Le Louroux. When Marie Anne did not answer, Chimen walked over to the hearth. The 12-year-old lay down her book and began to walk silently towards her uncle. Moments before Chimen threw the paper inside the fireplace, Marie Anne snapped it out of his hands. Chimen was overwhelmed when Marie Anne had taken the paper without him noticing. "Impressive," he said. "What?" Marie Anne asked. To which Chimen replied that it was impressing that she could take something out from one another's hand. She told that if she had not got it, her plans would be nothing but ashes. Marie Anne was told that she could not live in the past, and had to move on.
The three letters was written by Mélanie and Jacques Étienne to Chimen
The following month, Chimen was ready to train Marie Anne. The garden in the house at the Rue des Petits-Champs was enormous, and soon it was filled with diverse things that would be challenging for her. She was tasked by steal three letters that Chimen had placed in the garden. Twelve of the doctor's assistants – who was informed of the situation – placed themselves in the side scenes of three different places: a palace, a street-café, and docks. Marie Anne was supposed to find all the letters within the time limit – of which Chimen took with the help of an hourglass. The first letter was hidden at the table in the palace-scene. Three Chimen's helpers sat at the table when they saw a rock roll in front of them; one of them walked up to it to see where it came from. The two other followed, and when the man returned, the letter was gone.
The second letter was in the pocket of one of the men – whom discussed the technique of autopsy. One of them asked the other about a letter from their boss. The one with the letter lifted it and then told that they would know the information back at the hospital. He did then put it back in his pocket. Afterwards, they heard some porcelain break. They turned their heads and when they did not saw anything, they turned their attention back to one another; they had not noticed that Marie Anne had stolen the letter from one of the men's pocket and replaced with an empty envelope.
At the scenes of the docks, the letter was hidden inside a locked box. Marie Anne saw the difficulty in the whole, and now she concentrated to trigger her Eagle pulse to see which of the doctors who had the key to the box. The doctor patrolled between some papers of individuals who carried a form of disease, a box of instruments who was in need at the hospital, his fellow-doctor, and a cauldron with a pig-head. After waited for minutes, Marie Anne saw that the man became slippy. He sat down and put the keys at the box that Marie Anne was supposed to rob. She moved gently towards the box, grabbed the box, unlocked with the key, took the letter and replaced it with an empty envelope.
After this, Marie Anne came back to her uncle and delivered him the letters. He said that she was supposed to keep them and read them. Afterwards, she was supposed to read them to her brother, Pierre. Uncle Chimen left the area with his fellow-doctors. Marie Anne established herself in the study and read the letters.

It is with sorrow I must say this: Me and my husband must go in death. The matrimony-promises me and my Jacques made for each other. When this letter arrive you, I mostly will be cold. My wish is that you still train my children. Me and my husband must leave this life for a reason: a Templar, an offspring of Templar LaGouze, have a trouble with me and my Jacques – you and I know what I'm referring to. He is powerful, and under my last mission in Calais – when I tried to remove him – his wife captured me in the act. I had to flee. Some days afterwards our estate got a letter where it said that LaGouze knew of my identity – God knows how, but it smells Chat Noir all the way – and he would destroy me and my family, unless I could make sure that he got a greater prize; I did therefore offered my life against my family's, but this wasn't enough. I offered my husband's life as well; this time he agreed on my terms: mine and my Jacques' life against our children. He answered that he would take properly care of them: I do wish that you, my blood-brother, take care of them. Teach them everything you can – what we can. Let your minds of me be what they were – do not come to Château d'Le Louroux, where my body will hang. Make me proud in the afterlife: promise me you will take care of my children. Goodbye …

Brotherhood of Assassins []
Years passed, Marie Anne questioning about the secret society named The Assassins; who were/are they; what are their purpose; who do they fight for; how long have they existed. These questions was the daily subject in the house at rue des Petits-Champs, so it was inevitable that Pierre would hear of this. At the age of 18, Marie Anne was questioned if she would like to become a part of the secret society; Dr. Chimen was a part of it, and his servant-girl, Vallérie, was also a member – but only as a secret informant. Marie Anne excepted and when her time came for travel the Eagle's path in 1784, the Mentor – Comte de Mirabeau – found her interesting and a reincarnation of the Assassins' Creed. With the years of training, Marie Anne did no longer thought of seeking vengeance. She served the Brotherhood of Assassins, and did followed it step by step.
While Marie Anne was targeted diverse Templars in Paris, her brother Pierre had nothing to do. He lived in the mansion of Chimen. He wanted to become a part of something bigger, something stronger than the Assassin Order. His uncle did however thought that to control the boy, the Assassin Order just had to take him – or else he would do something really bad. He had to train, and the training program created by Chimen was enough to make his time pass by. This was however not enough: He was relentless and wanted fighting instead of lurking in the shadows – to Chimen's hatred. It was rarely Marie Anne was home these days, and was busy finding out which of the Templars pulled the strings in Paris; she worked with another Assassin named Laurent Mouzay, an these two made a spesial couple in the Brotherhood – but they did not made a relationship. Laurent found Marie Anne's brother like a bird trapped in a cage, and make him a part of the Assassin Order before he had become 18 years, more precisely: 1789, at the age of 17.
The Hooligans of Calais[]
1789
When Marie Anne and her Pierre had become Assassins, the Council sent them to Calais. It was not planned that Pierre was supposed to travel with Marie Anne, but he sneaked on the same carriage as her. Calais had belonged to the Templars for years, and newly the papers in Paris said that The Turk had driven with slave-trading and -smuggling. Two other Templars, only known as The Daredevil and The Bureaucrat, assisted the leader of The Turk. Their mission was to kill The Slaver's acolytes, scandalize him, and then kill him.
The Daredevil[]

Marguerite Murat was born in Calais, and was the daughter of two merchants – of whom belonged to the Templar Order. She was the oldest child of three and was also a (of what we would call today) LGBT individual who liked to dress more of a man's clothes than a woman's.
Murat was a member of the Templar Order, who served under the pseudonym of "The Daredevil"
In 1785, Murat was recruited into the Templar Order by François Germain – he did not care of her sexual orientation. As a Templar, Murat controlled the streets of the poor in Calais. She was a master in duels, and owned a fightclub: Hist Taverne. She got money to hire brutes. These brutes controlled Calais, and made trouble for the law; they did however served as bodyguards for her husband Joséph Iscariotte.
In 1789, Murat was killed in a duel; this was rather strange. It was said that not one could kill her, but she did fell for Pierre Étienne's blade. The club was closed, and the brutes did now served Joséph continuos.
The Bureaucrat[]

Joséph Iscariotte was born in wealth in the city of Versailles. Iscariotte was the younger twin of Philippe Iscariotte – the twin did however died when he fell in a well when they both were two years old. Iscariotte's parents was a part of the Templar Order, so it was inevitable that Iscariotte became a part of the Order. His sexual orientation however as a LGBT individual however he held to himself.
Iscariotte was a member of the Templar Order, who served under the pseudonym of "The Bureaucrat"
In 1785, Iscariotte was recruited into the Templar Order by François Germain – he did not care of his sexual orientation. As a Templar, Iscariotte controlled the streets of the rich in Calais. He was a master in words, and owned a social club, form where he got money to hire brutes. These brutes controlled Calais, and made trouble for the law; they did however served as bodyguards for him. With his moneys, Iscariotte controlled lives of all the citizens of Calais.
In 1789, Iscariotte was killed by the Assassin Marie Anne Étienne while he bought a house to "make it into firewood". He was guarded by brutes, but was killed after all. Word could not help him, so he ran. A Phantom Blade shot through his chest, which killed him almost momentary.

Shamar al-Djin came from Constantinople to France in irons
Shamar al-Djin was a rich slaver from Middle East. He came to France in irons in 1742 at an age of 6. Al-Djin was brought to Marseille, France as a slave, and sold to a nobleman named Robert LaGouze. LaGouze used Shamar as a slave to clean his mansion in Marseille. Mme. LaGouze used al-Djin as a pin cushion when she sewed dresses for the Queen, and as a simple servant.
Al-Djin founded his own trading company with the money he had been given from the LaGouzes after his freedom in 1759 – at the age of 23. His company, The Turk, soon grow attention to merchants all over France – and further out form the country's frontiers. Men from as far as Serbia heard of The Turk and wished to job for the owner. Al-Djin became a wealthy man, and soon draw attention of smugglers also. Al-Djin established a plantation in the Caribbean (in a French colony) where he had hired a local businessman to administer the tract of land. France had established Code Noir that forbid cruel treatment of slaves, but even a earlier slave as al-Djin ignored this Code. He thought if he could become a free man after some years of discipline, other slaves would too.
Shamar al-Djin was a part of the Templar Order, where he served under the pseudonym of "The Slaver"
In 1773, Shamar al-Djin was recruited into the French Templar Order. Since al-Djin was a wealthy and well-established man in Calais, he was given control of that city. The merchant worked with two other Templars to control the city: Marguerite and Joséph Iscariotte. Al-Djin was a man who manipulated everything he crossed path with – this included street rats and public officers. He ruled over Calais and it's citizens with an iron hand.
1789, Shamar al-Djin was assassinated by the Assassin-siblings Marie Anne and Pierre while he had a party. He sat at the dinner table with some other Templars when someone cut the rope to the chandeliers. They fell into the table and destroyed all of the light. In the chaos, the Templars were killed, and the Assassins followed al-Djin to a balcony. They shot him in both of his legs before they interrogated him. When the Assassins were done, Pierre threw al-Djin from the balcony – making it seem like he would have taken his own life.

Templar pin
Under the death of Shamar al-Djin, Marie Anne and her brother found a Templar pin who belonged to the slaver, of which they brought back to the Council. Arriving in the city of Paris, Marie Anne and her brother first returned home to their uncle's house. Vallérie was the one who opened the door, and the one who showed the siblings to the study. Chimen was reading a book when he saw his niece and nephew. "Your actions have come before you," he said. Marie Anne and Pierre sat down in each chair. "The Hooligans of Calais – and the Templars' influence – have been removed, and the Assassins will send agents to make sure it keeps it that way. Messages of a Master Templar trying to retake Calais have reached us, and our fellow Assassin, Laurent Mauzay, will bring him down." Marie Anne told that they had got contact with a man named François Brunet – who seemed to be a former Assassin. Chimen seemed to be intrigued by this, because he was placing himself further out on the chair. He asked if he had heard correctly: "François Brunet? A doctor?" Pierre confirmed it. Chimen called for Vallérie: "A carriage, now! To Calais!" Vallérie understood from the tone that it was important and ran out in the courtyard to the stable boy. Chimen then turned to his niece and nephew: "Brunet is a legendary Assassin who played a part on the Assassins' side during the Caribbean Purge. After an incident there he vanished from the records of the Assassin Order. We need to get him back to the Order. For now, go to the Council and deliver a report: I will return at the end of the week – or some days."

Pierre and Marie Anne got some food and drink in their bellies before taking out in the streets, dressed in clothes of aristocrats, only armed with their hidden blades and a pistol each. It was long to go from the rue des Petits-Champs, but they needed the walking: they had been sitting in a carriage all the way from Calais and needed a bit of movement. Whilst walking down the streets, the siblings noticed that some of the city's lower class had come to this part of town. It was unusual, but still: after the end of the Estates General in June, the lower class now began to show teeth to the upper class. At one point, they saw a man that started to yell out to the men and women of the lower class that now. He stated that it was time to get to arms and show the nobles what the poor sons and daughters of Le France could do. Marie Anne noticed that he was protected by a group of someone called Extremists – or for the Assassins: Saint Vierge. The man was either an ally or a puppet of the Templar Order – or in worst case scenario a member himself. Marie Anne knew that the Council would not be glad for pursuing targets without sanction, so she told Pierre to stalk the man to his hideout – and when he had information about the Saint Vierge or their leaders, he would kill him. Pierre nodded. Marie Anne walked down an alley, away from Pierre – wishing he did as he was told to do. Marie Anne had not gone far before she heard a gunshot. People began to scream and run away from the place. Marie Anne immediately went back to the scene. Pierre was in full fight with the extremists: using his hidden blades to slice their throats and giving them other wounds. The man who had shouted to the people was dead, so could be told by his corpse that was facing Marie Anne. She ran up to her brother, stabbing an extremist in the back whilst running. "What did I tell you?" she yelled while assisting her brother. "Why wait?" he answered. "That man would have made the people go out and act as violent beasts. Do you mean I just should have let it happen?" While he was talking, he was dueling a brute. Marie Anne answered: "I wish you had followed him to his hideout." Marie Anne used her pistol to fire at three other extremist, ending the battle. "Let us get out of her before the guards coming and arrest us both." Marie Anne ran up to the house in front of her and climbed up to the roof. Pierre soon followed. At the rooftops they began to run for the bridge.
After the following minutes, Marie Anne and Pierre soon stood in front of the Café Théâtre, the intelligence gathering front of the Assassin Brotherhood. They entered the salon, and walked through it to a door that led to the tunnels of the Brotherhood's hideout. Walking down the halls, Marie Anne and Pierre was noticed by the other members. They were both greeted by an Assassin who brought them to the Council. Here, Marie Anne delivered the log of the mission in Calais. When she showed the Templar pin, Master Beylier inspected it and stated: "Camille Hautcoeur found something like this on a mission some weeks ago. She thought it belonged to a more radical party of the Templar Order. I sent her on investigate further on the Templar – but it seemed that this is used by the whole Templar branch."
Pierre sighed: "So we have not come any further in our investigation, monsieur Beylier?"
"I wouldn't say that," Beylier stated, "but I would tell you to ask the Templar Alphonse Saint-Just."
Master Quemar said: "I agree on that. Dr. Saint-Just operates in the La Bièvre district, where he finds men and women who can serve his medical-studies. He acts as a sort of scholar, and tries to enlighten the citizens of Paris – all in the name of the Templar Order. Bring him down, and make him talk."
Sophie Trenet said however: "Unfortunately, Saint-Just have been sent to Vienna to meet with a Templar. We have sent Brasseur to track them both down. We shall see if he manage to do so. Meanwhile, talk with Angélique Ingur: she need a team of Assassins to help her with something. You can also go to Louis la Mort: he need help with tracking down and kill certain members of the Templar Order. Find him near the Notre-Dame cathedral. Charles Dawkins does also seem to need some help with defending the Les Invalides Stronghold; if you want to find him, find his associate: Mademoiselle Bourienne." Marie Anne and Pierre left the Council.
The Nag []
After leaving the Council, Pierre asked Marie Anne why she not had told them about the incident earlier on. She answered that she did not need to, the Council would get to know it soon enough by themselves. Pierre stopped at the stairs. "Why are you doing this?" Marie Anne walked a few more steps so she ended at the floor. Then she turned up to her brother and said: "Doing what?"
Pierre looked on her: "You know what I mean: why are you acting so cold-hearted, so neglecting."
"What do you think? Firstly, you were not supposed to come with me to Calais; secondly, upon our arrival in that city, you were not late on attacking madame Murat. We would have killed her earlier if you not had tried to kill her so relentlessly. You could have been killed! Later on, when you got help from Dr. Brunet, you disobeyed the orders on staying home."
Pierre walked down to his sister: "Tell me, Marie Anne: if you are so disappointed over me, why are you still having me around you?" Marie Anne did not got the chance to answer, because at the same time, a woman approached them. She was dressed differently than other Assassins. Usually, the French Assassins was dressed in a white or yellow coat, a red gauze mask, and brown belts and hoods. This one was dressed in a little dress and armed with simply weapons.
