Quincy was an outlaw and member of the Earl Sutton Gang in Arizona during the 1880s, or the Old West. He was also a Sage of the Isu Vejovis.
Biography[]
In 1885, Quincy and the rest of the Sutton Gang robbed a train a few miles to the east of Tombstone, Arizona, where the young outlaw discovered part of a strange dagger in a crate on the train. Not understanding why exactly the dagger was on the train in the first place but getting a strange sense of familiarity with the object, Quincy grabbed it and placed it in the pockets of his overcoat.
Upon taking the dagger, Quincy was then fired upon by a group of men in black suits. Noticing that the men all had strange red crosses on their suits, Quincy and his fellow gang members engaged in a shootout with the men, and made their escape by horse, leaving the remaining men on the very train that the gang had just robbed. As they were making their escape, Quincy showed the leader of their gang, Earl Sutton, the dagger that he had taken from the train. Sutton looked at the dagger, himself not understanding why it was on the train, or why their black-suited attackers wanted to protect it so badly.
Earl handed the dagger back to Quincy, and the outlaw kept it with him, as a memory of the heist that the gang had committed that day. However, he eventually would come across an Isu temple within a cave in the Arizona desert. There, the outlaw encountered another group of men with red crosses on their outfits, who were all attempting to open a glowing door on the other side of the cave.
Upon noticing Quincy watching them, they engaged in a gunfight with the outlaw, but were all shot and killed within the span of 10 minutes. Approaching the door, he placed his hand on it, when suddenly, the door opened upon feeling the sensation of Quincy's touch. Upon entering the temple's main chamber, Quincy came face to face with a glowing figure, who instructed him to keep the half of the dagger that he possessed safe at all times, as someone important would need to make use of it one day.
Quincy, albeit confused, listened to the figure's instructions, and continued to keep the artifact safe for the rest of his life.
