It is one of the purported five Swords of Eden crafted by Hephaestus, to fight during the War of Unification. It was the one left for safekeeping in Asia, and was later used by influential Asian leaders in war and conquest.

This particular sword was sought after by the Japanese during the Second Sino-Japanese War to aid in their war efforts. However, the secret files of the archaeological expedition was uncovered by the Assassin Jonathan Griffon, which whom was tasked to secure the device before the Japanese with aid from the OSS and the Chinese Communists. History[]

The Sword of Eden was created by Hephaestus, "the maker", during the Isu Era to bring about the end of the War of Unification. Purportedly, after the war, the Isu despersed the swords to five different corners of the world (East Asia, West Asia, Southeast Asia, West Europe, North Africa) for safekeeping purposes.

One of the Swords were entrusted to a member of the eastern Isu culture, Fu Xi. He and his sister-wife, Nü Wa, were the leaders of the eastern Isu who, like their western counterparts, created beings molded in their forms from clay and animated to life in the sacred forges of Zhu Rong, the master-smith of the eastern Isu.
